About the Role:

We are seeking energetic and reliable professionals to join our team as Clerk II in our Patient Access Center (PAC). You will be working in a call center environment and responsible for answering incoming client calls, scheduling appointments, updating client demographics/verifying patient eligibility and directing calls to appropriate staff members when necessary. In this role you are often the first point of contact, so we are interested in hiring individuals with a commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to make quick and accurate decisions.Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

Location: 3010 Grand Avenue, Waukegan, IL


(Week 1) Monday and Tuesday: 1:30pm - 7:00pm, Thursday: 1:00pm - 6:00pm and Friday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm

(Week 2) Monday and Tuesday: 1:30pm - 7:00pm, Friday (3rd): 1:00pm - 5:00pm and Saturday Alternating: 8:00am - 1:00pm

Skills and Experience

  • Answer incoming phone calls.

  • Make appointment for clients.

  • Update demographics and verifies patient eligibility.

  • Answer phone calls from various Clinical Operations clinics.

  • Assist with maintaining patient records.

  • Patient outreach for follow-up care as directed.

  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities on an on-going basis.

  • Perform verbal language interpretation and written language translation services as needed.

Education, Qualifications, and Certification:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of one year of office experience.

  • Must be customer service focused with outstanding phone etiquette skills.
