Job DescriptionJob Title: Commercial FP&A, Manager Reports To: Commercial FP&A, Senior DirectorPosition Location: Vernon Hills, ILFLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): ExemptPosition Summary: Cole-Parmer is looking for a business-minded, results-oriented Manager to join our Commercial FP&A team. The Sales Analytics team is integral to driving business decisions using detailed Financial Analysis. We develop insights that drive Business strategy and optimize decision making for the Executive team and other leaders across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally to forecast, analyze and investigate trends and develop value-creating opportunities. To develop in this role, you must be innately curious, deeply analytical, highly driven, self-starter, and a strong communicator.Key Responsibilities: Responsible for global consolidated revenue across regions and business segments Partner with segment leaders to consolidate segment and region forecasts for weekly, monthly and annual budget business reviews Monitor KPIs and business drivers for specific departments (Marketing, Sales) highlighting trends and investigating underlying causes of variances. Perform advanced analysis to understand the critical drivers of the business Produce monthly financial reporting, analyze key performance indicators, and compare actual results versus plan and prior year Prepare KPI reports distributed daily, weekly and monthly to the Executive and Senior Teams, and other key stakeholders Assist with the preparation of the Company's annual operating budget and forecasts including variance analysis Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to both Senior Management and departmental leadership of the Company Support business functions with on-going analysis, business planning and investment decisions Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required Financial analyst with a minimum of 8 12+ years' experience MBA preferred This is a data-intensive position and will require advanced Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence skills in combination with in-depth knowledge of database software Ability to navigate multiple systems Strong analytical skills with an ability to summarize, and communicate relevant data Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized; ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution Must be able to manage various data sources to create complete reports for functional business partners Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint programs; Qlik Sense or Qlik View, Host Analytics experience preferred.
