Job Description

As an Account Manager in one of the fastest-growing divisions of ODC, you will work with Client Partners (Sales) and agencies understand how best to use data to solve their marketing challenges. You will become a trusted advisor to the Agency Account Management team and Client Partners by using ODC’s digital capabilities to help provide digital marketing recommendations and by ensuring flawless execution and management of campaigns. It is important that you have a passion for learning, have a strong interest in advertising, marketing, and digital media, and can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment. This position is preferably based Mid-West to the West due to the agencies of focus.


To deliver great client experiences through timely and accurate responses to internal and external requests.

  • Brings 3 years of relevant industry experience to the team

  • Upsell driven to advance evergreen targeting strategies, account growth, and lasting client relationships

  • Become an expert in ODC internal tools and processes (e.g. JIRA, FAST, Grapeshot, BlueKai, ODC Insights)

  • Attain a fundamental understanding of Oracle Data Cloud product offerings (targeting, measurement, Crosswise, OnRamp, DMP, MOAT, data enablement)

  • Understand roles and build solid working relationships with internal partners (Partner Solutions, account services, and operations teams) and external agencies (digital media planners, precision and client strategy teams and programmatic buyers)

  • Learn and understand how to strategically recommend targeting solutions based on specific campaign objectives

  • Consistently and swiftly provide internal and agency partners with recommendations for digital targeting and media based on specific marketing objectives

  • Manage timelines and other details to ensure seamless campaign planning and execution.

  • Works well in a team, while being humble and striving for improvement; operates with optimistic tenacity and a client-first approach.


  • Focus is 30% internal/operations; 70% client interaction

  • Consistently provide internal and agency clients with timely and accurate responses to targeting size and composition requests

  • Develop strategic targeting recommendations to deliver against campaign objectives

  • Execute strategic thought leadership delivery of:

  • Audience and Context builds

  • Audience and Context planning and presentations

  • Audience and Context insights

  • Oracle Audience Planner and Grapeshot demonstrations

  • Work with internal teams to research questions, trouble-shoot, problem-solve and relay findings

  • Work with internal account services team to ensure flawless execution of audience needs

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product

  • s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
