As an Associate Business Analyst , you will work on an elite team participating in all aspects of commercial formulary maintenance and related formulary operation activities. This position requires excellent clinical experience (knowledge of medications and drug database management) and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with other departments.
Our ideal candidate will be based at either our Schaumburg IL or Irvine CA offices, though we may consider stellar candidates as remote / work at home employees regardless of location.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for formulary builds and maintenance covering all Commercial, Medicaid and Exchange lines of business
Daily interactions with Clinical, Account Management, and Benefit Operations teams
May be responsible for commercial formulary program creation & maintenance in the formulary application
Support short and long term operational and strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information as well as supporting development and maintenance of the Formulary Management applications
Review and analyze formulary data to determine the appropriate process for building and maintaining formularies in the Formulary Management applications
Oversee formulary change process and perform formulary reporting and analysis functions
Work collaboratively with others to track and maintain formulary information for specific clients
Ensuring a comprehensive quality review of formulary data to maintain accuracy and service level agreements

Required Qualifications:
1+ year(s) of experience in data analysis collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations to management
1+year(s) of experience in process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel (writing formulas, sorting, filtering)
Excellent communication, writing skills, time/project management, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, challenging position

Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience
Pharmacy Technician background
Formulary Operations and / or Submissions experience
Experience navigating and using RxClaim platform / AS400 knowledge and experience
RX Builder experience
Experience using MS Access 1+ year(s) of experience working with relational databases or querying tools

The hourly range for Colorado residents is $20.77 to $36.88.
