Requirements Under the direction of a professional nurse, the Student Nursing Assistant (SNA) assists the patient with activities of daily living, transfer of mobility skills, skin, bowel and bladder programs, and maintains a clean, safe environment for the patient. Exemplifies Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH) mission and value, and acts in accordance with policies and procedures.Skills/Abilities: Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, good computer, time management and organizational skills required, familiarity with patient care equipment needed.Education: High School or equivalent, must be currently enrolled in accredited Registered Nurse program, successfully completed minimum of one semester of formal nursing education that includes one semester of clinical experience and/or CNA certification. Certification/Licensure: CNA and CPR (AHA) certification. Schedule: Days and Hours are variable, 8 and 12 hour shifts.
