Requirements Under general supervision, performs non-complex maintenance and repairs on a variety of plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipment. Also performs routine building repair tasks. Demonstrates professionalism and self-motivation in order to perform routine duties, and assisting others including outside vendors, as scheduled or required. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and work from architectural and mechanical blue prints, drawings, and schematics; basic interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and the ability to concentrate; safe use of hand and power tools; capable of lifting building supplies weighing up to 60 pounds as much as 30% of work time, generally able to conduct physical activities associated with the performance of the job; experienced with computers with an understanding in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook and the Internet.Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; Shift: 8 hours; 80 hours per pay period.
