nPosition Summary: n

n

This position serves as key warehouse leader for supply chain logistics in east region. The candidate should have a track record of success in a fast-paced distribution center and manufacturing environment including developing people, safety performance, managing change, and continuous improvement to lower total delivered cost for TreeHouse Foods. This position will act as subject matter expert to provide support to plant warehouse operations and 3PL teams with responsibilities in warehouse operations, capital and budget planning, project management, standard operating procedure development, crisis/recall management, contract management and strategic direction.

nPosition Responsibilities: n

n

n

+ Responsible for the development and formulation of long-and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives for warehouse functions.

n

+ Develop the operating plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of operations to ensure that products conform to TreeHouse, customer and quality standards.

n

+ Review performance against operating plans and standards; provides reports on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans.

n

+ Collaborate with other logistics functions (transportations, network modeling, and special projects) and other TreeHouse functions such as operations, planning, customer supply chain, customer logistics, etc.

n

+ Formulate and recommend policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the manufacturing/warehouse facilities.

n

+ Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost.

n

+ Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of purchasing and inventory standards.

n

+ Drive a culture that emphasizes a "People First" environment, open communication, empowerment, recognition, and workplace safety.

n

+ Initiate and coordinate major projects (e.g. facility layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.).

n

+ Understand P&L accounting functions and the relationship of operational activities and decisions.

n

+ Negotiate agreements with vendors and collaboration partners.

n

+ Partner with Human Resources to deploy leadership development opportunities, building a diverse workforce, and introduction of change management concepts to build an engaged workforce.

nnQualifications and Requirements: n

n

n

+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

n

+ Master's degree preferred

n

+ 15+ year experiences in supply chain related areas; distribution operations, inventory management, warehouse related transportation, customer service, S&OP, warehouse layout

n

+ Demonstrated success in the management of people and very strong leadership traits.

n

+ Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

n

+ Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities; problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.

n

+ Demonstrated success in the management of third party providers (3PL) in the areas of warehouse operations, value added services and transportation, especially Contract writing and negotiations

n

+ Proficient in WMS systems and knowledge (SAP, JDE, JDA, etc.)

n

+ Ability to travel up to 50%
