'Z' Frank Apachi J Camp is located on our beautiful 10-acre campus in Northbrook, IL, just north of Chicago. With large green spaces, manicured athletic fields, shaded areas and shelters, it's the ideal place for 600+ kids who love to play, create and explore. Our camp features air-conditioned spaces, two large heated outdoor pools, an outdoor cooking classroom, arts and crafts studio, adventure tree, boating, tennis court, a climbing wall and more.
The Director Elect of 'Z' Frank Apachi is a position that will transition over time. In this position, the Director Elect will partner with the existing Director of Northbrook Camps to gain knowledge in how to successfully program and execute camp during the months leading up to the summer of 2019, during the summer, and de-briefing after camp. Throughout the 2019 calendar year, the knowledge transfer from the Director of Northbrook Camps to the Director Elect will be vital to the success of 'Z' Frank Apachi in 2020 and beyond.
In 2020, the Director Elect will transition to become the Director of 'Z' Frank Apachi, and the Director of Northbrook Camps will continue to be a trusted resource for support and direction, as needed.
