Sylvan Learning Sylvan Learning Center: Part-Time English & Math Teachers in Normal, Illinois

Our amazing tutors do more than teach. They get to know each student, motivating and inspiring one student at a time, to discover his or her best. If you become a Sylvan part-time teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver our personal learning approach and help our students not only succeed but thrive. Do you love the idea of helping students achieve their academic success?  Do you love teaching students? Do you prefer to not have to write lesson plans, market yourself as a private tutor, manage family relationships, carry private tutor insurance, manage the scheduling needs, and more?  Do you like to have a flexible schedule, working only on the nights you want to teach?

If you answered yes to any number of questions above, then Sylvan may be the perfect fit for you! At Sylvan, you can do what you love - TEACH - while the Sylvan Directors manage the rest.

Making sure learning clicks for each child isn’t always easy, but that’s exactly where our passion lies.. If you share this passion and want to inspire kids to thrive, we want to hear from you!
