About the team:

SAP Fieldglass’s Integration team has launched a program to enhance security posture of application portfolio. Goal of the program is to enhance customer data protection and achieve highest rating in each security audit. We are looking to build applications that centralize security assets, enhance controlling processes, and audit security asset changes. If you are passionate about building applications using cryptography and be part of a strong technical team then this is your dream opportunity.

What you’ll do:

Position Title: SAP Fieldglass iXp Intern – Full Stack Security Developer

Location: Naperville, Illinois

Expected start date to end date: June 10 ,2019 – August 16, 2019

In this role, you’ll:

  • Have the unique opportunity to develop and deliver core application components using Java and SQL.

  • Develop front-end interfaces and RESTful APIs using HTML, jQuery and JSON

Who you are:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or masters degree program which is applicable to the position (computer science or equivalent proven experience).

  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL, CSS

  • Experience developing rich applications with HTML/CSS/JS

  • Strong communication skills that include the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies

  • Preferred experience: Familiarity with Maven, CI/CD tools using Jenkins or Bamboo, Bitbucket or Github.

  • Nice to have knowledge: Symmetric and asymmetric keys, Public key infrastructure (PKI), PGP encryption tools and SSL Certificates.
