Edward-Elmhurst Health Radiology Asst in Naperville, Illinois
General Summary: Under general supervision Radiology Support Supervisor and the Lead technologists, and according to established policies and procedures, provides assistance to patients, their significant others, technologists, physicians and other hospital personnel as assigned or needed in a professional and courteous manner. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job. Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
Location: Plainfieldcampus
Hours: Part time, evenings. Weekend rotation.
Required:
A High School diploma or GED and strong computer proficiency required
Previous Windows experience
CPR certification required within 30 days of hire date
Preferred:
Experience with healthcare information systems, including PACS
One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, especially in direct patient care roles
