Robert Half International Logistics Clerk in NAPERVILLE, Illinois


Are you looking for work that requires experience working as a Logistics Clerk coordinating shipments? Consider this great opportunity for a talented and professional Naperville, Illinois Logistics Clerk! In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, arranging shipments, and processing customer orders. You will also find that this role performs a heavy amount of data entry and customer service functions. A Service company is looking for a candidate to fill a temporary role for a short-term duration.

Key responsibilities

  • Interact and correlate with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

  • Approve freight bills and process bills of lading

  • Perform various administrative duties

  • Comply with guidelines for approving carriers

  • Manage, pursue, and facilitate dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

  • Follow-up with carriers, as necessary


  • Can you offer experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions to a position?

  • Outstanding data entry skills

  • Data entry experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of Shipping

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

  • 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

  • Ability to complete general office work, operate basic office equipment, and route incoming materials
