BMO Financial Group ETL Database Developer in Naperville, Illinois

Description:

* PRIMARY FUNCTION: *

The ETL/Database Developer will assist in the implementation and maintenance of SQL server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis Projects. They will also work on support phases of ETL Process Automations and Database Administration.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day duties ETL and Database Administration, which include:

  • Supporting Daily Jobs Containing ETL Packages

  • Server and database level security

  • Back-up and recovery

  • Create and automate the monitoring functionality in SQL to identify potential problems and provide proactive solutions.

  • Integrate and support data requirements from new and existing applications.

  • Security Administration

  • Database Maintenance

* PERFORMANCE MEASURES: *

  • Successful completion of daily updates

  • Increase ETL and Database Refresh Efficiencies

  • Accurately plan for future ETL and Support needs

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2-4 years professional database administrator experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred

  • Working knowledge of SSIS and job creation combined with experience in physical and logical database design.

  • Knowledge of banking or finance industry preferred

  • Excellent communication skills
