DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible and accountable for managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the general financial operations, accounting, financial reporting, budgets, accounts payable, and payroll. The Accounting Manager performs the necessary duties for maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements and other financial reporting duties, providing internal and external support for audit and regulatory reporting in coordination with other Financial Services.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area of study required, Master's Degree or CPA preferred.
Five years of health care or business experience, at least three of which have been in a supervisor, manager or charge position.
Demonstrate ability to manage with proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to exhibit/promote progressive management skills in order to facilitate change.
Ability to promote team building skills and to empower others.
Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team involvement.
Ability to multitask across multiple projects and disciplines
Highly organized with strong planning skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Excel Skills including Vlookups and Pivot tables.
Experience with Word and PowerPoint.
