Drive performance improvements in our operations. Designed to provide broad exposure to a cross-section Berry Libertyville business, Interns will be a part of our structured internship program, providing visibility to upper management, professional hands-on training and networking opportunities. A position in Quality will incorporate our entire quality system. As an intern you will work in a project based environment where you will be responsible for contributing to improvements in customer complaints and our entire manufacturing and supply chain processes. This experience will provide the opportunity to work in cross-functional teams, as well as independently, to determined and implement solutions based in analytical assessments.


  • Analyze customer returns and/or internal quality KPI’s and lead Quality improvements

  • Create and improve Process Control Plans in manufacturing

  • Assist in root cause analysis 8D /problem-solving investigations

  • Provide plant floor level Quality Engineering support

  • Participate in ISO and leadership audit activities

  • Calculate and analyze quality metrics


  • Undergraduates pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • Junior entering their senior year

  • 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills

  • Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills

  • High degree of energy and curiosity
