This job was posted by : For more information, please see: RESPONSIBILITIES:A.Clean and sanitize vats used in the processing area according LOF established methods.B.Utilize high pressure hose to rinse vats.C.Communicate with maintenance to keep vats in good working condition.D.Transfer all clean vats from the vat wash room to the staging area.E.Assure that vats are cleaned as required by Land O' Frost, Inc. Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).F.Keep all inedible picked up.G.Assist other employee's in maintaining the work area assuring it is clean in safe working condition.H.Assist other employee's with their job as needed.I.Responsible for completing chemical training and achieving a passing grade.J.Responsible for completing HAZMAT and HAZCOM training.K.Responsible for following all safety and wearing all PPE specific to this position.L.Responsible for adhering to all food safety, quality and GMP procedures specific to this position.M.All other duties as assigned by management.Land O' Frost LansingJOB DESCRIPTIONJanuary 1, 2009PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSA.Standing or walking 100% of a scheduled day.B.Bending, stooping, twisting or stretching 75% of a scheduled day.C.Able to work in variable temperatures of between 3 and 120 degrees during the course of a shift.D.Able to tolerate a wet environment for 100% of the shift.E.Must be able to lift 30 lbs., partially lift (tilt) 100 lbs.F.Able to work with Dairy or boosted pressure hoses operating from 60 to 400 pounds of pressure for 50% of the sift.EQUIPMENT OPERATED:A.Manual or hand pallet jack.B.High pressure wash down hose, chemical foamers, chemical flood sanitizer station, and chemical titration test kits, (check for proper sanitizer solution concentrations).C.Rain suits, rubber boots, rubber gloves, stell glove, sleeves, chemical mask or hood, and any other personal protective equipment required for your protection by LOF for specific or routine sanitation cleaning applications.
