Job Description

A recognized technical expert who masters multiple infrastructure technologies utilized within the domain (Networks, Telephony, Network Security) for solution engineering. Implements, maintains, and integrates the corporate WAN, LAN, Server, Telephony, and Network Security Infrastructures enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations.

Support Project Execution, partners with Enterprise, Security and Regional Services IT teams and external service providers, utilizing tools and following IT Standards and Procedures. Develop Metrics and performed analysis of problems to find root cause of delays / issues to continuously improve related processes and procedures.

Performs effective Vendor Service Management - Develops, executes and maintains Governance Meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Regional IT teams with troubleshooting and maintaining Network Security Network Security LAN / WAN technologies such as STP, VPN, VLAN, 802.1x, wireless controllers, Firewalls, VoIP, TCP / IP, OSPF, QoS, MPLS and enterprise 802.11 as implemented with Cisco equipment.

  • Leads Vendor Service Management activities partnering with VMO and following escalation processes.

  • Maintains documentation of Network Security diagrams, configurations and operational documentation.

  • Diagnoses, and solves complex to highly complex problems (TSME) following problem and request management.

  • Develops and executes maintenance plans (MACD for network security technologies).

  • Leads Project Execution, partnering with Enterprise, Security and Regional Services IT teams and external service providers, utilizing tools and following IT Standards and Procedures.

  • Leads the standard setting, and architectural solution design activities and be a Product Champion for several products within Network Services.

  • Owns the planning and renewal of all critical equipment’s through Annual maintenance contract, reporting issues with services providers and escalating per vendor service level agreements and conduct random physical asset audits for compliance.

  • Follows Change Management processes and critical communication process during outages and changes.

  • Actively participates and leads in Regional, Security and Enterprise team meetings, to understand business requirements, team progress and works on action plans as per committed timelines - Provides solutions to reported issues from Regional Teams to resolve incidents, problems or improvements.

  • Supports all Infrastructure cost for AOP preparation and tracks spending monthly within the financial limits.

  • Leads in BOS Reporting, Continuous Improvement and Lead problem solving (8D) analysis to avoid repeat issues.

  • Proactively supports all critical equipment’s and end user capacity management issues by archiving or upgrading the infrastructure.

  • Provides basic training new IT Users on IT Process, and IT Systems usage.

  • Supports Entitlement processes for end users access request.

  • Leads and supports audit activities based on Internal Audit requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently in a matrix organization.

  • Advanced Technical knowledge LAN / WAN technologies such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, switches, hubs, routers, network protocols, PBX, voice and data, VPN, VLAN, 802.1x, wireless controllers, Checkpoint Firewalls, VoIP, OSPF, QoS, MPLS and enterprise 802.11 as implemented with Cisco equipment.

  • Advanced Knowledge and experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and investigating information security incidents from a variety of reporting platforms such IPS / IDS, NAC, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability monitoring systems.

  • Good Knowledge of troubleshooting of Windows Server, Linux, Certificates, Biometric devices, Active Directory administration, Mobile devices.

  • Conceptual thinker, goal oriented and driven to meet project deliverables and deadlines.

  • Excellent Vendor Management skills and very good understanding of service level objectives, and metrics.

  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to adapt changes.

  • Customer focused, active listening, empathy and remain.

  • Ability to use MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to interface and influence at multiple organizational levels and escalation appropriately.

  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills and ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.

  • Organized and able to function successfully in a team environment.

  • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with peers at regular interval on related topics.

  • Expert in gathering relevant information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or factors, grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems or issues; use accurate logic in analysis.

  • Expert knowledge in 5S and Root Cause Analysis.

Required Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 year University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. Master’s Degree in Business Administration desirable. (IT or related field preferred).

  • 10+ years’ experience of relevant working in a Global IT Organization supporting internal IT Infrastructure on-site and remotely (automotive and / or manufacturing industries is a plus).

  • Certificate (Mandatory 2 or more): ITIL, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, Security, CISSP, CCIE.
