Work will be executed in adherence to verbal and written instruction while maintaining compliance to quality system requirements.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1.Receive and inspect machined components to ensure compliance to manufacturing quality standards2.Read and understand blue prints in order to determine finishing and post processing requirements3.Utilize various hand tools to deburr, polish, and clean precision machined components4.Ability to operate handheld and stationary pneumatic and electric tools to remove heavy burrs and sharp edges5.Must demonstrate good communication skills with supervision, lead, co-workers, as well as support cross-functional departments.6.Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality and accurate work.7.Perform various 5S tasks as directed by department lead to support a clean and safe workplaceQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:1.Must be eligible to possess explosive under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Chemring Energetic Devices.2.1 - 2 years' Experience in material handling or post processing in a Manufacturing environment3.Ability to read, interpret, and follow Work Instructions and Safety Rules4.Adherence to attendance requirements and flexibility to work extended shifts5.Follows instructions, responds to leadership direction, and maintains accountability for actions6.Supports a positive workplace culture through teamwork, feedback, and sound judgementPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe description of the physical demands and the work environment characteristics here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform and those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
