Manages a team responsible for providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations based on historical and current pharmacy business activities. Informs Market Access strategy by providing insights on historic access changes, payer enrollment shifts, and/or improving ability to model impacts of future changes. Responsible for identifying and communicating drivers and drags on pharmacy business performance in assigned areas of responsibility including, but not limited to, specialty pharmacy, health care clinics, health systems partnerships, finance, marketing, and operations.
Ensures various phases of Development are captured in business performance insights delivered by team.
May become actively involved, as required, to resolve highly-complex business challenges and make recommended changes to strategy/roadmap for area(s) of responsibility.
Collaborates and shares information cross-functionally to improve workflow processes and operational efficiencies. Interacts with internal and external peers to share highly complex information related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced business solutions/initiatives.
Continuously evaluates established standards, best practices, methodology and tools and seeks to improve deliverables in order to maintain alignment with business needs. Manages the development and implementation of new processes, templates, methodologies and /or tools for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Participates in training of team members to develop the knowledge base and improve partners’ confidence within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Oversees team(s) assigned to projects, delegates and prioritizes workload, and manages the execution processes, ensuring project initiatives are completed on-time to meet partner’s needs.
Provides guidance, direction, coaching, and counseling to a team of analysts. Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.

External Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or Finance and at least 2 years of experience with SAS or SQL and data management OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in a field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or Finance, with SAS or SQL and data management.
Experience with SQL and statistical software packages such as SAS, SPSS, and R.
Experience with statistical data analysis, data mining and data cleaning techniques.
Experience querying and analyzing large datasets, including but not limited to pharmacy, for patient and payer insights, and plan performance reporting
Experience conducting root-cause analysis to identify operational issues or exceptions and recommending/implementing strategies to drive improvement and solutions.
Experience with relational databases and MS Office Suite.
Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, including the executive level.
Experience managing complex workload and deliverables, owning prioritization for self and direct reports, and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Experience presenting to individuals at all levels of the organization, including the executive level.
At least 1 year of cross functional team leadership.
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or Finance and at least 5 years of experience with SAS and Pharmacy data.
At least 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
