The Dump Manager in Training (Deerfield) in Deerfield, Illinois
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The MIT is responsible for aspects of the stores success. The primary responsibility is to learn all aspects and departments in the store so you are well rounded and ready for promotability. This may include working directly with customers, being available at all times to the associates as a source of information. The MIT is also required to handle customer questions and problems after the sale when forwarded from another department. The MIT will participate in all meetings and training. Additionally, the hiring and interviewing of new associates will be performed as part of his/her regular duties.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsible for KPM for the function.
Maintain staffing levels (determined by store location). Submit weekly staffing levels. Participate in all recruiting functions.
Assume Store Management duties as needed.
Must be flexible with work schedules and be available, as needed, to work evenings, holidays, and weekends, with or without advance notices
Implement all Orientation and Training Programs.
Schedule ongoing training
Competitive shopping reports including verifying all circulars against our assortment
Maintain door count logs
Assist other areas where needed to prepare floor for opening
Assist in maintaining housekeeping and merchandising standards on floor by utilizing staff
Process payroll and attendance management for direct reports.
Implementing all aspects of The Dump and/or Haynes business culture to all associates.
Responsible for reporting and monitoring all associate time records.
Develop force (hire, coach, and develop a high performing team)
Conduct energetic meetings
Assist associates in daily functions
Hold monthly one on one meetings with team
Supervise floor – offer “on the spot” coaching, advice, support, motivation and information throughout the day.
