Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Innovate, Design and Implement new Agent Desktop features utilizing modern Web development tools
Write automated unit and acceptance tests and champion TDD and ATDD best practices
Lead and participate in design and code reviews
Coach and mentor other members of the development team
Work closely with other Scrum teams when implementing features spanning multiple teams
Introduce new tools and processes to help team improve product quality, product performance, and team productivity
Become a product expert and leverage that expertise to support internal and external users
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Background:
7 years of professional software development experience
BS/MS in a technical engineering discipline
Expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming in a statically typed language such as Java, C#, C , or TypeScript
Experience with Test Driven Development, using mocking and Dependency Injection
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Demonstrated ability to complete a project through a development process, including: requirements gathering, detailed design and project planning
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background:
Experience with TypeScript, Sass, MVC and/or MVVM design patterns, Acceptance Testing tools, Continuous Delivery, CRM applications, Agile development
