Stadium Goods Warehouse Operations Manager in Chicago, Illinois

We are planning to open our Midwest Flagship in downtown Chicago as the next step in our retail expansion.

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for achieving the inbound consignment operations KPIs through team management, development and cross functional project ownership. You will report directly to the VP of Operations and will work cross-functionally with the Inventory team, Merchandising team, and other members of the Supply Chain/Logistics team to achieve optimal SLA requirements that ensure best-in-class customer service levels. This role requires an obsession for detail, process-oriented mindset, and passion for process improvement.


  • Strategy and Daily Planning – Participate in setting the strategy for all Intake operations located in Stadium Goods Chicago Warehouse

  • Develop, implement, enforce and evaluate SOP’s and policies using Lean techniques and process improvement strategies.

  • Participate in inter-departmental meetings partnering with Operational department heads in Consignment to build synergies fostering communication, cooperation and teamwork.

  • Plan and manage distribution of work on the Operations Intake teams to meet business objectives

  • Implement strategies that commit to providing a positive, safe work experience for our employees.

  • Coach, develop, motivate and cultivate staff. Provide ongoing feedback fostering growth and sustained improvement. Create an environment that ensures a high level of employee engagement by promoting an environment of open communication.

  • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs by team member, department, and location.

  • Research, develop and implement process improvements to our intake process and supply chain by seeking out areas of inefficiencies in both internal and external-facing processes.

  • Applying the continuous improvement mindset to your workload


  • BA or equivalent experience preferably in a related area (supply chain, finance, engineering, etc.)

  • Ideal, 2-3 years experience in a high volume, high growth start up.

  • Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and applies the continuous improvement mindset to all work streams

  • Strong soft skill set to provide continuous feedback and coaching to team members and leads

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills; comfortable with thinking critically to resolve issues efficiently

  • Comfortable with using ERP systems; experience with Magento, X3 and 3PL partners a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills, comfortable presenting to cross-functional teams in a concise and effective manner.

  • Ability to balance tactical planning skills with a “bigger picture” mentality

  • Ability to multitask and work independently
