SpringCM Technical Enablement Manager - Partners in Chicago, Illinois

As a Partner Technical Enablement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the growth of partner implementations services.. Your primary concern will be increasing the effectiveness of several key partners and driving them to invest more in technical resources and growing and refining solution delivery competencies, which will help grow their SpringCM business. You will report to the Manager, Partner Services & Enablement.


  • Be a billable, trusted technical advisor to SI partners who are delivering SpringCM solutions

  • Participate in requirements, architecture and design sessions, and manage escalations to ensure technical success on SpringCM projects

  • Provide coaching on configuration best practices, provide introductions to new features and promote adoption in solutions.

  • Collaborate on prototypes and contribute complex configurations as project deliverables.

  • Influence next-generations platform technologies, features and tools in partnership with our R&D and product management teams

  • Collaborate with delivery leaders at a project and practice level to coordinate just-in-time or planned cadence training/support for partner teams and ensure partner implementation success

  • Contribute to strategic technical enablement plans and programs with key SpringCM partners

  • Onboard and manage practice development relationships with both strategic and opportunistic partners, and influence and participate in the development of training materials to create partner-specific technical content

  • Work with sales, professional services and alliance teams to understand partner capacity requirements across regions and industries

  • Promote visibility into partner capabilities across SpringCM

  • Manage a project summary dashboard for all partner projects involving SpringCM technology

  • Collaborate with our Success Team and partners to measure engagement outcomes and customer satisfaction


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Management or related field is highly preferred

  • 5+ years business process analysis experience (“Process” rather than “System” analysis experience)

  • 3+ years project management experience (Scrum or other Agile experience required)

  • 1+ years of programming experience (or relevant SpringCM experience)

  • Evidence of ability to create and deliver technical training and coaching is essential. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Salesforce in a Salesforce Admin or Developer capacity

  • In depth understanding of document/content management and/or workflow systems and their application to business process improvement

  • Experience implementing workflow/BPM software (e.g. Lombardi, Pega, K2, Skelta), ECM software (e.g. Documentum, FileNet, MS SharePoint) and/or IDC technologies (e.g. Brainware, DataCap) is an important qualification

  • Ability to write user stories, requirement documents, functional specifications, test cases and technical reports and procedures

  • Ability to make formal and informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff

  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Effective use of project management/PSA tools (i.e. MS Project, OpenAir, Tenrox)

  • Ability to manage 3-5 concurrent partners/projects

  • Must be able to work independently or as a part of a team and be self-motivated

  • Ability to work non-standard business hours to accommodate business needs

  • Must be willing to travel, occasionally

  • Must demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity


  • Experience with Business Process Management or Business Process Mapping tool is a plus

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and its administration is a plus

  • Familiarity with SpringCM, workflow, template building and its administration is a plus

  • Familiarity with XML and XPATH queries is a plus

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management systems is a plus
