The Salesforce AppExchange is the strongest enterprise cloud marketplace and most successful ecosystem of tried-and-true apps and certified consultants that extend the Salesforce Customer 360, and help customers on their digital transformation journey. We connect our customers to our partner ecosystem to find, try, and buy ready-to-install apps and consultant services for every department, any industry. For our partners, we deliver access to our technology and access to our customers through our go to market strategies based on 20+ years of cloud experience.

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive integration of our AppExchange messaging across all product and industry marketing teams at Salesforce and execute innovative campaigns for AppExchange. We want a versatile Product Marketer with experience and expertise of strong written and verbal communication, compelling messaging and positioning, innovative storytelling and ability to deliver high impact campaigns to drive adoption of AppExchange within our customer base.

The right candidate is a self-starter who drives action and results; is comfortable flexing between strategy and execution; and demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.


  • Develop messaging and positioning for AppExchange that is specific to each Salesforce product and Industry; collaborate with respective PMM teams to build assets and campaigns that achieve joint KPIs

  • Collaborate with our corporate marketing, and creative teams to deliver strategic communications, videos, web content, and other sales tools about AppExchange

  • Lead the development and drive the execution of innovative campaigns to highlight customer stories and drive customer site traffic across , social, display, SEM, and other relevant channels.

  • Develop enablement materials to educate sales and internal teams on the value proposition of AppExchange

  • Work closely with our Content Marketing team and AppExchange Marketing Program teams to identify, enable, and champion AppExchange customers and evangelists.

  • Partner with AppExchange Product team to optimize to move customers through the purchase funnel from consideration to purchase to advocacy.

  • Represent the AppExchange in meetings with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers and at Salesforce events such as Dreamforce and World Tours.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing at a high tech company, or similar. MBA a plus, but not required.

  • Experience crafting compelling brand and product positioning.

  • Outstanding executive communication, collaboration and influencing skills at senior level

  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.

  • Hands-on capability to create a range of marketing assets, including e-books, webinars, and succinct slide pitch-decks.

  • Strong skills in communication, presenting, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally

  • Established ability to successfully define and drive projects with minimal guidance

  • Proven track record of speaking in front of internal, external, and global audiences.

  • Marketing portfolio with examples showing your writing style is a plus

  • Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and CRM applications (Experience with the Salesforce product is a plus)

  • Location: San Francisco Bay area is preferred, but open to other locations where there is a Salesforce hub office
