Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Testing Lead to join its State and Local service line and take an active role in in a testing engagement.The successful candidate will be responsible forcreatingbusinessuse cases, reviewing test scripts,managing resolution for defects reported, and escalated matters withclient PMO andapplication vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Required Experience: * Solid understanding of the overall software development lifecycle with the ability to identify impacts to testing related activities across the lifecycle * Strong experience in Requirements Analysis and Use Case writing * Strong ability to transform requirements and use cases to test scenarios/test cases * Demonstrate the ability to introduce industry-leading testing practices and helping teams mature their IT-Testing processes * Prior experience in test execution, test analysis, bug/fix, and participation in triage reviews with software vendors and business users. * Strong experience and ability to quickly create, review and update testscripts. * Collaborate with various levels of management to ensure requirements defined have been captured in use cases and have traceability. * Participate in daily team and business status meetings. * Work closely with business, vendors, and technical teams and provide value-added support towards the successful completion of the test phases. * Responsible for the creation and updates of QA team deliverables and alerting of project teams and managers of obstacles, issues, and risks. * Experience collaborating across multiple teams and vendors with a proven ability to build a camaraderie with these teams * Must have a proven ability to create detailed status reports and have strong verbal and written skills
Desired Experience * Ability to discuss the status of all opendefectsfacing the test team and describes actions taken to mitigate them. * Prior testing lead experience and ability to create management plans such as test management plan, test schedule, etc * Prior experience working with an IT consulting firm providing IT advisory related services * Prior software implementation experience spanning across the entire SDLC * Prior experience with business development activities, such as proposals, capture plan, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. * Prior Project Management experience * Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies * Certification such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or Six Sigma color-banded belts.
Other Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Business Information Systems or related field * At least three years of experience with Quality Assurance, Requirements Elicitation, and Testing Management * Experience with QA Test strategy plans * Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. * U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. * Travel may be required. * Ability to work overtime required on occasion. * Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. * Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. * Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. * Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
