Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Senior Marketing Manager in Chicago, Illinois

The Senior Manager, Marketing will focus on the tactical execution for a mixture of Healthcare Professional (HCP), Patient and internal Sales Training programs. HCP programs include HCP Speaker Bureau program / Ad Boards, Patient programs include patient story asset development / Ad Boards and internal Sales Training programs include 2 National Business Meeting planning and execution.

  • Manage and perform tactical market planning across key audiences, especially Key Opinion Leaders, for our key product.

  • Apply understanding of customers, key market trends, and competitive environment to assist with the development of medical education tactics.

  • Collaborate with cross functional leadership to ensure aligned objectives, understanding, and implementation of the brand strategy.

  • Identify innovative educational opportunities and approaches that meet our customers evolving educational needs and implement across non-field sales-based tactics.

  • Partner with Director, Sales Training to develop National Business Meeting strategy and goals, agenda, engagement plan, vendor sourcing management and execution.

  • Assist in creating and executing the speakers’ bureau strategy and implementation. This includes content development, speaker bureau identification and training, webinar planning, bureau financial management and ongoing programming.

  • Partners with field leadership to ensure flawless execution of all speakers’ bureau initiatives.

  • Lead KOL identification and management initiatives. Develop strong external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and help to drive KOL strategy for the brand.

  • Partner with patient engagement agency to develop patient story assets for use across audiences and channels.

  • Manage commercial ad boards (both HCP and patient) and collaborate with medical on all advisory board activities as needed.

  • Support the development and execution oversight of marketing specific activities related to speaker bureau or patient assets at medical conventions, exhibits and trade shows.

  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators for marketing programs and tactics.

  • Ensure that all Medical Legal Review processes are followed and all programs are compliant with legal guidance and corporate policies.

  • Develop and deliver presentations as needed to commercial management and other internal groups.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience preferred

  • Background in Healthcare and HCP Marketing preferred

  • Ability to take initiative to identify areas of opportunity and seeks out solutions to problems

  • Forward thinking mindset with the ability to be agile in all situations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Travel up to 20% (Covid-19 dependent)
