To embed in the organization best in class capabilities in the area of Retail & Customer. You will design, create, and deploy tools that support a Mars signature process Perfect Store (a sales force program that maximizes in-store ROI) and co-pilot with Perfect Store team novel approaches that will create operational efficiency and or category growth.
What are we looking for?
Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or Human Sciences.
Experience in retail, data and analytics, or research position (e.g. CMI, Research Institute, University) of at least 7 years.
High command of English required.
Proven track record of deploying tools/methodologies in a commercial business environment
Proven networking, communication (visual and oral) and analytical skills
Experience of multi-country/cultural working environment
Experience in working with agencies and multiple stakeholders
What would be your key responsibilities?
Drive deployment of standard tools and applications for Perfect Store. Deploy Mars Global Services Insights tools and applications in close partnership with segment stakeholders (Shopper Insights, Perfect Store, Category Leadership – both global and local teams)
Together with business stakeholders, evolve the suite of standardised Perfect Store tools related to designing, tracking, and optimizing the program.
Create and align the optimal processes to maximise value from existing toolkits. Ensure tools and processes are continuously deployed and applied, monitor usage and support with ad-hoc segment request.
Design and deliver the scale-up of a tool that will evolve the Perfect Store program through the use of advanced analytics to drive clarity and precision to the elements Mars should focus on to drive greatest growth. This will include current solution and a learning agenda for forward-thinking, future solutions. In particular,
Manage the scale-up of a new Analytics program across the businesses, including, creating processes and protocols to ensure set-up, running, and embedding of tool and learnings in partnership w. an analytics team and local and global stakeholders.
Partner with digital technologies and perfect store community leaders, evaluate the role & merits of image recognition technology for the Perfect Store program, and then create and deploy a business case for the technology across the segments.
Create & institutionalize meta-learnings that will improve the overall impact of this program tool.
Create a best-in-class Test & Learn capability in the organization.
Explore capabilities as a more accurate prediction of shopper behavior for an idea or product or idea versus existing research protocols. This tool will have a wide application across customer functions including Perfect Store, Category Management and Shopper Insights, internal and external uses.
Act as Segment Global Point of Contact for Perfect Store and Category Management in Mars Global Services Insights.
Proactively build relationships with segment Perfect Store, Category Management, and Digital Technologies team, ensuring there is a communication and partnership with MGS Insights.
