Kellogg Senior Manager, Global Data Strategy in CHICAGO, Illinois

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Omni-Shopper & Digital Consumer Marketing you will be responsible for the development of first party consumer data strategy and regional consultant for execution. You will work closely with key stakeholders in global and regional business units across brand marketing, promotions, experience planning and other functions. This role also includes accountability for all aspects of the strategic framework, regional pilots and measurement of data acquisition and engagement efforts. And, in collaboration with IT, you’ll oversee ecosystem implementation and functionality with Adobe and Epsilon marketing platforms.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Consumer Data Strategy :With an owner’s mindset, you’ll lead the global consumer data strategy, and influence regions to execute data acquisition and engagement activities for both brand and promotional audiences to maintain and grow first party data.You will partner with global and regional media, marketing and IT and Legal operations to develop a first party data strategy, increase data scale and enhance data collection while complying with appropriate privacy and data collection standards.You’ll also develop standardized measurement frameworks and global reporting to measure impact on the business. Our success is shaped by you.

  • Collaboration :You’ll work with our Information Technology team to define consumer data technology roadmaps to deliver consumer marketing objectives, and ensure technology capabilities meet the needs of future marketing efforts to support brand initiatives.You’ll also collaborate with global and regional experience planners, shopper marketing and promotional teams to influence integrated, omni-channel experience plans and tactics that leverage our 1P data.And, you’ll support regions in 1p data onboarding, identify agency and external vendors as applicable.

  • CRM Stategy: As CRM subject matter expert, you’ll be an advocate for CRM process globally. You will help regions to design, develop and deploy initiatives tied to driving business outcomes. This could include B2B, D2C, and B2C. You’ll also train the regions on how to coordinate and facilitate brand, corporate communications, shopper and eCommerce planning to develop content plans, and maintain integration of all existing customer data from various touch points into the centralized databases including all required documentation.With an eye for compliance, assure compliance with all Kellogg’s policies, legal and brand guidelines and lead or participate in key digital and CRM governance activities.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Extensive years of integrated marketing experience with superior digital proficiency

  • Experience working with CRM and martech platforms or other relevant marketing technology such as salesforce, SQL, HTML, JavaScript

  • Experience developing strategic framework and executing CRM programs across different channels and devices (SMS, Chatbot etc)

  • Experience implementing measurement plans to quantify impact of CRM including email marketing, content marketing and digital/mobile metrics

  • Demonstrated ability to engage, lead and influence others—up, down and across

  • Experience and ease speaking to groups of all sizes

  • Inquisitive thought leader with strong analytical skills with the ability to infer and apply learnings

  • Strong problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Vendor management experience

Bonus Points :

  • Experience in the CPG/FMCG industry

  • Advanced degree

  • Adobe Experience Manager or Epsilon experience

  • IAPP certification
