We are seeking a Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture focused on the Retail and Consumer Goods segment. The Senior Manager will work closely with Regional Sales VPs to understand their account mix and sales opportunities in order to develop an Enterprise Architecture team best suited to that region.

Your Impact:

The Enterprise Architecture Sr. Manager will hire and allocate resources, perform employee reviews and evaluations and participate in strategic deals to grow the business. You will be a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate/external resources when required. Hiring and on-boarding of experts is a critical aspect of this role.

The Enterprise Architecture Sr. Manager will also act as an evangelist to various internal stakeholders and create meaningful collaboration strategies to enable a team selling environment. With external customers, the Sr. Manager will strive to build relationships with IT and Business executives.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with CRM technologies (or other Enterprise business applications, particularly Salesforce) and be able to present to an executive audience of both business and technology leaders.

  • Extensive pre-sales experience is required.

  • Experience in Enterprise Architecture concepts (e.g., alignment of business and IT strategy) is necessary.

  • Good analytic capabilities, be organized and able to work many tasks at the same time.

  • Ability to support the Sales team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to Salesforce executive staff.

  • Ability to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing, Development, and Sales Management to gain commitment and support. Must have excellent Sales and Presentation Skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability is paramount.

Desired skills:

  • Retail and Consumer Goods expertise is strongly desired

  • Prior pre-sales management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Multiple formal Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, App Builder, at minimum)

  • Honorary Trailhead Ranger status or higher
