Charles Schwab Senior Manager, Client Experience - Workplace Financial Solutions in Chicago, Illinois

Your Opportunity

Charles Schwab’s Retail Business-to-Business organization is responsible for defining and developing the B2B strategy, offers, and experiences that drive growth and loyalty of existing and prospective clients. Workplace Financial Solutions entails Stock Plan Services and Compliance Solutions. We strive to provide our clients with world class service and support within the workplace. The organization is responsible for establishing long term client relationships with corporate clients and individual employees. We are also responsible for overseeing the platforms that support our retail and advisor clients, and creating valuable client experiences in the workplace.

The WFS Client Experience team is responsible for business strategy, retail initiative activation and development of best practices and education. The team seeks a Senior Manager to join the efforts in continuous improvement of Schwab’s B2B model. The Senior Manager is an individual contributor who reports to the Managing Director of the Client Experience team.

What you’re good at

  • Proactively recommend and prepare prioritization materials to share across business units. Focusing on removing obstacles, mitigating risk, increasing growth opportunities and enabling funding to create value for our clients, our people, and our infrastructure

  • Collect, synthesize, and share field feedback with key business partners

  • Facilitate meetings, business analysis, business process, project management, and tracking when applicable

  • Collaborate with Business Strategy within Workplace Financial Solutions to ensure our strategy is in line with the overall vision for WFS

  • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of how WFS businesses operate each business and serve their clients

  • Assist with strategic initiatives and business updates across the WFS organization

  • Serve as a liaison with key business partners across Schwab to ensure WFS is factored into new product launches, Rep and client experience enhancements and overall changes to the delivery model and offering.

What you have

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to succinctly synthesize data, develop recommendations, create presentations and present to management

  • Execute multiple initiatives at one time where it will involve a high amount of communication, coordination, project management and delivering on deadlines.

  • Comfort with ambiguity with an ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, growth-oriented and dynamic environment

  • Ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical level to manage multiple projects that vary in scope and complexity with cross-functional teams

  • A client-centric focus with the ability to keeps corporate clients and their employees in the forefront of decisions, and the skills to connect plans and actions to our purpose

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with little supervision

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

  • At least 6 years of experience in product management, marketing or business strategy

  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and proficient in Microsoft Excel
