We are seeking to expand our corporate team with the addition of a Regional Manager. This individual would report to the Head of Operations and be responsible for the following tasks, among others:
Manage the day-to-day operations of different accounts ranging from event planners, hotel/retail concierge, and corporate guest services teams.
Responsible for the following at each assigned account:
Responsible for setting goals and objectives, supervision of staff/managers and ensuring policies and procedures are being followed
Maintain proper staffing levels at each account
Partner with HR on recruiting for new team members
Conduct new hire training and orientation on policies, procedures and programs utilizing approved training materials
Review concierge weekly reports and provide Head of Operations high level overview each week
Address performance concerns as immediately as possible, and in accordance with JLL’s progressive performance management process, partnering with the assigned HR Advisor for guidance
Conduct annual reviews and ongoing feedback to team members
Manage PTO requests and coordinate trained coverage for assigned accounts
Provide on-site event support where necessary
Approve staff time cards and correct any discrepancies
Order marketing materials, equipment, etc. applicable per account
Develop and implement new training initiatives, policies, procedures and programs as necessary
Communicate to the staff and assist with implementing any new programs and initiatives created by the Events & Partnership Team
Conduct regular on-site visits with teams
Check-in with clients regularly to ensure expectations are being met
Maintain company shared drive with current information including training documents, internal processes and procedures, and marketing material
Attend industry networking events on behalf of the company
Work with Head of Operations on program strategies and developing new ideas/programs
Stay current on market trends and partnership opportunities
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
3+ years’ experience in high-end hospitality or related field
3+ years’ experience in progressively responsible supervisory positions
Previous multi-unit experience preferred
Previous event management or hospitality experience required
Computer literacy, specifically MS Office applications, Internet, iOS, and Google applications
Professional demeanor and appearance
Take great pride in the motivation and development of staff
Ability to be flexible and adaptable
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, and anticipates needs of others
Estimated travel required up to 75% of the time
