Overall Responsibility for Project Delivery
Scope Management & Change Control
Issue and Risk Management
Contract Management (amendments/administration/subcontractor/invoices)
Status Documentation/Escalation Management
Executive Relationship Management
Project and Customer Communications Management (up/down/peers)
Pre-sales Activities (develop and review SOWs and cost estimates)
Process Improvement Initiatives and Mentoring
Candidates must have excellent project management, communication, organization, negotiation and problem-solving skills. The role requires both deep project management experience in a consulting organization and broad business and technology acumen. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to engage in senior level business and technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and end to end technology projects. Experience using Agile methodology and an understanding of Collaboration Messaging and Intelligent Communications.
8+ years of professional experience in an enterprise consulting services environment
5+ years of Project Management experience in a technical environment
Ability to travel 50%-70%
Fluent English verbal and written communications skills
The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a DoD/US National security clearance at the level sought by our customers when required for the role. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment. Preferred:
Minimum of a four-year degree (MIS or Technical degree preferred)
PMI PMP Certified Project Manager
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) Certified or Agile/Scrum Master Certification from industry recognized organization
