The Operations Coordinator – Logistics is responsible for assuring accurate delivery, distribution and collection of materials and supplies used for in-store engagements to third party agencies and Promoworks Engagement Specialists so events can be performed.

The Operations Coordinator – Logistics coordinates all aspects including procurement of materials from customers or third-party vendors, providing program specifications to contracted fulfillment centers and ensuring delivery of the program kit to the field. This position requires interaction with vendors, client service and the operations functions of the business.


  • Consult with internal departments to determine objectives and requirements for client programs.

  • Monitor materials and supply progress ensuring timelines are met; adjust accordingly per changes

  • Reconcile programs at the end of each program, including coordinating the disposition of inventory

  • Contact fulfillment service companies to gain the best quote for customer (RFP)

  • Determine the appropriate carrier for transportation of kits to the assigned locations

  • Manage materials and supply inventory to ensure inventory is available and used for each program

  • Determine materials and supply specifications for assigned client programs

  • Contract fulfillment services for each program to receive, kit, label and ship demonstration kits

  • Purchase materials and supplies from approved vendors and schedule shipment to fulfillment center

  • Coordinate the required customer materials and supplies to fulfillment center

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Great Plains Accounting software; Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications: Occasion travel may be required.
