We’re looking for a Manager to execute the marketing and programming strategy for Nike Membership Experiences with a focus on serving the everyday athlete* in the Chicago marketplace! This person will work cross functionally to develop programming strategies and work with both internal and external teams to bring these "365" plans to life in the city. They will improve the consumer's Nike Experience across each of Nike’s core digital platforms. Past experience working with digital product and marketing teams is significant to succeed in this role. Additionally, proficiency in planning and executing both digital and physical events is a plus. This role will require someone who is current with the latest trends in digital experiences, sport experiences, experiential retail, and social media. They are able to overlay consumer needs, feasibility and business objectives into new insights. They are a validated digital marketer who is creative, collaborative, and eager to develop. Finally, they are a leader of support, uniting team around the Consumer Direct Marketing vision.

What you work on

You'll become the subject matter authority on the Nike Experience platform, developing deep knowledge of digital capabilities and how to apply them to improve and elevate the consumer experience. As part of this team you'll be responsible for the execution of the Nike Experiences marketing strategy, and deliver insight-led marketing briefs that translate business and marketing goals into impactful strategies that can be brought to life for the consumer. You'll be charged with delivering consumer journey frameworks that are advised by city data and insights, in order to keep plans relevant and hyper local. There is a strong focus on partnership across teams to integrate Nike Experiences into the daily “365” offense, key seasonal brand narratives and full-funnel brand campaigns. "365" deliverables will include programming strategy, consumer journey strategy, creative briefs, and test/measurement plans. You will be working across a broad channel mix including, but not limited to, social media, targeted communications, stores marketing, performance marketing, cross app promotion, earned media opportunities, and influencer and athlete activations. Additionally, you will support a “365” interactive learning agenda, this requires continually testing, measuring & optimizing seasonal plans.

As a member of the Chicago Consumer Direct Marketing (CDM) team. We are a diverse team of integrated marketing experts that delivers value to our consumer across our digital and physical ecosystem. The CDM team is comprised of the Nike Apps Brand Manager, Social Brand Manager, Visual Merchandizing Stores Marketing Manager and Retail Brand Specialists. We partner closely with the city, geo and global teams to develop deep, ‘365’ programming plans to Encourage, Enable and Equip our Chicago city Athlete*. Building positive relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams will be imperative to our success. We collaborate daily with partners including the Chicago Brand Management team, Creative Studio, and coordinated media to promote Nike Experiences across marketing channels. From a retail standpoint, you will team up with the Nike Direct stores team to co-develop marketing plans to extend Nike Experiences to our local stores. Obsessing the user experience, you will coordinate with internal partners and platform users across the business to ensure outstanding application of Nike Experiences capabilities.
