Cook County Government LEAD ARCHITECT- PLANT OPERATIONS in Chicago, Illinois
LOCATION: JOHN H. STROGER, JR. HOSPITAL
Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCHHS) seeks a talented Lead Architect with technical, planning and project management experience to oversee the architectural design and development of construction projects throughout CCHHS. The position is focused on delivering mid-scale to largescale Healthcare projects. The position will be responsible for managing and supervising staff and consultants at all levels of project implementation to ensure that all appropriate steps and procedures are taken.
This position is exempt from Career Service under the CCHHS Personnel Rules.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university (Must provide official transcripts at time of interview)
Licensed and Registered as an Architect in the State of Illinois (Must provide proof at time of interview)
Experience with Healthcare design
Current experience working with Life Safety Codes, Joint Commission Standards of Compliance, and OSHA guidelines
Proficient experience using Revit
Six (6) years of architecture experience
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation
Construction administration experience
