JPMorgan Chase IT Product Owner Business Analysis in Chicago, Illinois

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

  • College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant Business Analysis or Scrum experience

  • Agile framework experience

  • Prioritizing product backlog

  • Writing/Refining user stories

  • Articulating the business product vision

  • Understanding of the Business and IT strategies

  • Communicating project health and escalations to senior management

  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include experience with articulating functional and technical details

  • Experience with SQL required

  • Experience with DB2, CICS, COBOL and/or Java development a plus

  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis

  • Basic understanding of the company's business practices and familiarity with the company's products and services

  • Financial Banking experience a plus
