The IT Application Architect's primary responsibility is to drive technical direction and architecture of hi-volume, complex Field & Clinical EMR, EHR, Revenue Cycle related applications hosted on the cloud and on-premise. This role will architect and troubleshoot highly available, scalable revenue-generating systems. Additionally, this role will work with a diverse group of stakeholders from Product Development, Product Management, Infrastructure, Security QA, Compliance, and vendor partner teams to define solutions and then drive end-to-end solutions. Architect is expected to help develop shared understanding and build consensus with both business and technical teams on technical vision and execution.

Be a leader in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle while working with cross-functional team members –development leads, Build and release engineer, product owner(s), infrastructure teams, quality engineering, and business systems analysts - in a highly collaborative environment
Contribute as a hands-on architect to the Full Stack engineering, underlying infrastructure, and tools. Deliver high quality, robust, scalable, and resilient code on .Net platform. Execution capability across the stack integrating with multiple applications
Evangelize best practices, software development techniques, and frameworks with other teams within the organization
Ability to collaborate effectively across application, infrastructure, database groups
Improve Performance - Application, Infrastructure, Database, SQL
Assess and communicate risks based on technical complexity, resources, and timeline constraints
Lead research, evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering practices
Develop Application Architecture artifacts including blueprints
Participate with a team of technical staff and managers or business unit to determine technical systems requirements and functionalities needed in development projects
Review applications and make recommendations
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.
TOGAF, Microsoft, Cloud certifications are a plus.
Experience, Skills & Abilities (i.e., technical, knowledge, etc.):
At least 10 years of hands-on experience as Architect on .Net platform
Expert-level knowledge of agile methodologies working side-by-side with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and infrastructure team members
Track record of collaboration with vendor partner(s), customer focus, continuous improvement, influence, and results
Proven success working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
At least five years of Full Stack experience using some of the following technologies: .NET Core, Angular 6 and above, Bootstrap, TFS, SQL, Cache, Jenkins etc.
Proven track record of “build versus buy” decisions
Proven track record of doing POCs to validate technical approach.
Knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration-continuous delivery and Cloud architecture
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, architecture/design patterns, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, automated testing and deployment processes
