General Electric FP&A and NPI Manager, Power / O&G in Chicago, Illinois
This candidate will provide financial leadership for the ‘Power Gen / O&G’ vertical within GE Digital. This role will help lead the business through short term and long term strategic financial planning and analysis by partnering with leaders across functions to develop robust, dynamic, & scalable models. Also, quickly adapt and update based on the direction of the organization, and support business functional leaders to make strategic decisions on investment and growth opportunities.
Establish overall financial targets and drive global monthly forecast and actuals reporting for the Power Generation / O&G business
Prepare long-range forecast analysis to support executive investment and commercial decisions. Compare actual results to the original forecast.
Collaborate with business leaders and finance team members to define performance metrics for each function, and share financial insights with management
Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Services, Support and Product Management providing finance support that focus on growth and profitability of the business.
Suggest solutions, resulting implications, key actions and strategic implications
Develop and/or enhance existing financial models to enable robust and dynamic financial planning on a rolling basis
Partner with R&D finance team to support financial and data-driven aspects of Engineering and Product Management including total cost investment, return on investment, go-to-market strategy and roadmap standardization for New Product Introduction (NPI)
Proactively work to identify, assess and manage financial risks.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5+ years’ relevant finance experience

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Chicago, Atlanta, or Boston
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Solid finance analytical and problem-solving skills in challenging business environment;
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels of function and regions
Experience with Software development firm including start-ups
Proven project management experience, including coordinating multiple people / projects simultaneously
Experience with Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion
Comfortable working in matrixed and global environments
