Overview:
Imagination is seeking an editor to work on a leading association’s omnichannel content program. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, and be able to seamlessly shift between brainstorming ideas for a magazine feature to writing an Instagram post. Prior experience working on a business publication, managing a brand’s social media calendar, and an interest in current business and global economic trends is strongly preferred.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has at least 3 years of multichannel journalism experience
Is comfortable writing and editing in a variety of formats: features, infographics, video scripts, social media posts
Is a news junkie
Has experience in business journalism
Has managed a brand’s social media calendar
Is highly organized with the ability to work independently on multiple projects, juggling competing deadlines
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate with team to develop story ideas
Write and edit manuscripts and social posts to create content that’s interesting—and aligns to client goals
Collaborate with design teams as needed
