Senior Lifestyle Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing in Chicago, Illinois

Reporting to the National Director of Sales, the Division Director of Sales and Marketing provides Vice Presidents of Operations and Regional Directors of Operations sales and marketing expertise to support their occupancy growth initiatives. This position partners with VPO’s and RDO’s on setting the strategies established for the communities in the division, highlighting focus areas and managing the strategy of the division.

  • Use CRM systems to extract analytics and provide strategic direction using the metrics.

  • Ability to use data and analytics from the Senior Lifestyle reporting systems to measure effectiveness of lead generation, lead development and conversion metrics.

  • Develop strategic plans to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy goals.

  • Ability to provide analysis of metric data and where plans are falling short, re-visit and review existing occupancy growth plans making necessary adjustments that are designed to meet occupancy expectations.

  • Adjust communication style to meet the needs of sales, marketing and operations partnerships.

  • Understand how to analyze and establish rate structures within communities utilizing competitive data, feedback from the field teams and with this information develop the recommendations in partnership with operations.

  • Manage direct reports effectively, providing feedback, direction, and guidance.

  • Assess needs within the division and strategically deploy Sales Specialists to improve occupancy, training opportunities, and overall results.

  • Travel to the field and interact with community associates, extract data from those interactions and partner to provide examples of best practices as well as build occupancy execution plans that create a structured plan for improvement.

  • Work closely with the National Director of Marketing to assist in building plans and strategies that build effective media plans, lead generation, event planning, and conversion targets.

  • Interact professional and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members etc.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information.

  • Comply with all Senior Lifestyle policies, city, state and federal regulations pertaining to residents’ accounts as it relates to Medicare, third party billing etc.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Level of Formal Education: Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university

Area of Study: Sales or Marketing

Years of Experience: 3+ years

Type of Experience: A solid track record of sales experience and success in the long-term care industry and ability to build professional relationships

Special Certifications: N/A

Language Skills: English

Technical Competencies: Computer proficiency required
