HRBoost Director of Marketing in Chicago, Illinois

Planned Property Management is seeking a Director of Marketing to join their team in Chicago. The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing the strategic marketing plan based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization with an emphasis on increasing product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will have succeeded as a Director of Marketing or similar position of a large residential realty group, will have an exceptional focus on business development, will be a proven team leader who leads by example, and will have a high level of energy and motivation. They will be overseeing the generation of creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, developing pricing strategies, and meeting/exceeding marketing objectives. This person is focused on business and market development, customer management, management of market research, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, sales growth and customer satisfaction in order to create competitive advantages for our company in the market industry. The Director of Marketing will also oversee the marketing team members? daily activity and development. Reports directly to the CEO of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an overall marketing strategy for company properties, including pricing, customer service policies and advertising programs.

  • Provide the strategic vision for maximum sales generation and optimal revenue growth.

  • Develop marketing action plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities.

  • Carry out a program for market research and analysis including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis.


  • Bachelor?s Degree in marketing or related degree is required; MBA is a huge plus.

  • 10+ years residential estate marketing experience.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

  • Data analytic skills to understand and identify market trends and competitive analysis.
