Who You’ll Be Working With:
You will be working in IT Production Operations team where your colleagues are engaged in integration engineering, database administration, service management, release management and production monitoring functions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You will guide, mentor and manager Release Manager as well as Release & Service Engineer(s)
You will prioritize environment management related tasks including deployments and configs related work
You will manage Problem Review Board and participate in Change Advisory Board as a CAB member.
You will be accountable for developing environment strategy plan, maintaining environment calendar, building environment maps and publish environment usage and status reports for CORE and non-CORE applications and services.
You will be responsible for managing environment build requests, change requests, environment conflict and dependencies.
You will Build, Reserve, Refresh, Reuse & Reclaim environments for project use as a mechanism to optimize our infrastructure resources
You will collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and internal IT Prod Ops resources to align services supporting a continuous delivery and continuous integration methodology.
You will build effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization
The Experience You’ll Need (Required):
4-6 years of experience in production administration or release management function
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand application architecture including upstream and downstream data flows
Knowledge and experience in operationalizing build and test tools
Proven experience in build, refresh & reuse of lower environments
Flexibility - responsibilities may require evening and weekend work.
Experience working with and guiding on and off-shore resources
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
- Any experience you have in using PowerShell for automation purpose is big plus.
