JPMorgan Chase Corporate & Investment Bank - Control Manager - Wholesale Payments - Commercial Card - Associate in Chicago, Illinois
The position will have three primary functions:
Responsible for the control agenda, including managing regular control meetings and a control forum
Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) reporting and control evaluation/design review primarily for Commercial Card but will also have an opportunity to support other products
Manage all other control initiatives supporting Commercial Card including identifying controls issues and conducting deep dives and risk and control reviews

Risks and control identification/assessment
Control design and expertise
Control breaks and resolution
Establish control governance and reporting to identify meaningful metrics to inform on health of operational risk and control environment; manage the development of materials for control forums.
Manage control-related activities, including Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE), risk event occurrences, and risks/controls identified via the new business initiatives (NBIA) process; provide control related guidance/due diligence requirements to the Commercial Card product to foster a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven risk evaluation strategies to implement end to end controls to mitigate key risks.
Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, including Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices.
Lead by example, with exemplary personal and professional attributes. Inspire confidence in all levels of key partners from other functional areas and across the Lines of Business.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 2-5 years of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred
Experience working with broad cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and deliver best practices
Demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgment to influence a strong culture and risk management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) with the ability to develop compelling and meaningful executive presentations that will drive opportunities / recommendation for improvement
