We are currently seeking a Digital Asset Management Assistant to assist our creative team during a leave of absence. The contract is estimated to last for three months, from July-September of 2021.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensure governance of filenames, metadata and setup publishing for product images based on information from PLM/PIM for distribution on DAM, CDP, and PCM to align with product launches
Ensure that product images on the DAM are connecting to PIM, PCM, CDP, B2B Sales Portal, and Digital Catalogs and work with the Product and IT teams to troubleshoot any errors
Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to upload new images and videos from photoshoots for beauty/lifestyle shots to DAM and associate them to product information for distribution on DAM, PCM and CDP
Apply key business terminology to metadata for improved searches as well as identifying gaps for improved searching capabilities
Fulfill image requests from global internal and external partners
Responsible for the ongoing implementation of Macintosh computers as a design and production tool to achieve great creative and cost saving company goals. Learn software updates and enhancements, work with consultants and attend seminars to expand computer knowledge as needed
Maintain the job log for project tracking as well as individual tracking sheets in a timely manner
Other related DAM projects as assigned
We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience in digital asset management or a bachelor’s degree (or a junior or senior working towards a degree) in Library Science.
Other qualifications include:
Working experience in corporate digital asset management systems and tools preferred
Demonstrated ability to follow standards and structures for asset and metadata management
High level skills of Macintosh computers and Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
