JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking - Product Delivery Director - Merchant Services in Chicago, Illinois
This individual will have a passion for the customer experience and focus on the end-to-end journeys not only to drive simplicity and innovation for the merchant, but also their end-customers. The individual will also be responsible for partnering with Merchant Services to influence and translate the product strategy and roadmap for Commercial Banking client personas. Also charged with promoting the Merchant Services offerings in order to drive adoption via our sales channels for this key component of our Integrated Receivables proposition. Core activities include industry trend and competitive analyses, commercialization (including the creation of client positioning and sales-facing training), pricing, feature enhancement prioritization and project tracking. This will all be done in lockstep with our Merchant Services colleagues, as well as other relevant cross line of business functions such as TS product management, marketing, finance and Commercial Banking client-facing teams.
Creating and managing an end-to-end program to embed Merchant Services as a critical and sought-after solution for Commercial Banking clients, specifically focused on:
Merchant Services Strategy / Roadmap articulation to clearly outline the benefits to clients and their end-customers
Market Intelligence and Innovation to incorporate requirements and recommendations to improve products and the overall experience for the Commercial Banking segments
Sales Enablement to ensure all Commercial Banking client-facing teams are confident and excited to sell Merchant Services
Go-to-market Execution of product launches and business changes to ensure positive client outcomes and feedback
Program Governance / Reporting for Merchant Services and Commercial Banking stakeholders of key initiatives to drive growth and business efficiencies
Coordinating and prioritizing product input on Commercial Banking investment process for receivables proposition via input from Clients, Product Solutions Specialists, TMOs, and Bankers
Developing close relationships and alignment with Merchant Services counterparts in Product, Sales, Commercialization, Finance, Onboarding and Service.
Partnering with the Change Management and Ready-to-Launch teams to manage the impact and readiness to Commercial Banking clients, TS Sales, Bankers, Service and Implementation related to new product/enhancement launches, product defects/ migrations/ exits, policy changes, etc.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant Product, Strategy or Consulting experience within Merchant Services and/or eCommerce/Fintech domains
BA/BS degree and strong MS Office skills required
Good knowledge of traditional and emerging methods of payment (e.g., ACH, Wire, Real Time Payments, Wallets and Card).
Ability to translate product vision into sales and customer-friendly language, followed by execution of a go-to-market product launch.
Proven track record collaborating across cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Service, Sales, Onboarding, Marketing and Finance
Sales enablement experience with bringing new product capabilities to market and supporting sales education
Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes on simultaneous projects
