The Associate Manager, Paid Media is responsible for supporting the paid media practice and advancing the impact of media across Tyson Foods’ retail brands. He/she will be the owner of all media data, effectively collecting, organizing, tracking and analyzing inputs to enhance the greater Tyson media product. They will own the media buy detail, costs, KPIs and benchmarks –bridging data sets to create new opportunities for growth in paid, owned and emerging media territories.
This person will manage the agency execution against brand-specific measurement plans and use campaign-level learnings to inform holistic enterprise-wide POVs, frameworks and processes. He/she will be routinely asked to analyze 3rd party measurement studies and synthesize the media implications for internal and agency stakeholders, often working cross functionally with internal analytics teams. This person will hold primary responsibility for any internal media reporting needs, e.g. social listening, reach/frequency measurement, financial roll-ups etc.
This person will report to the Director, Paid Media within the Marketing Communication & Design Team.
Establish and manage central repository of media data across buys to create opportunities for continual buy improvement
Oversee execution of agency-led media measurement frameworks, learning agendas, processes and reports
Recommend and/or evaluate custom media KPIs that support short and long term brand growth
Track media performance vs. benchmarks
Own the social listening process and create internal reports as needed
Collaborate with media agency & Marketing Analytics on MMM & MTA data collection process and outputs
Manage output of Tyson-owned analytic tools, e.g Nielsen DAR, Google Analytics, Bazaar Voice, etc.
Manage mid and post campaign deliverables and calendar, ensure reporting consistency and actionable insights are delivered on a regular cadence
Oversee management of any media data needs for future data centralization platforms identified across the organization
Evaluate media measurement tools (e.g. marketing dashboards, cross-platform measurement) and develop POVs for utilization
Lead financial / billing process with the agency, centralizing budget management documents, coordinating distribution to internal stakeholders
4+ years of experience in media with heavy emphasis on Analytics & Measurement
Agency experience and/or understanding of agency-side analytics resources a plus
Ability to analyze large sets of data to produce succinct and meaningful insights
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to see the strategic implications for the business
Ability to influence others and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
Demonstrated experience in building media analytics strategies
