This job was posted by : For more information, please see: DescriptionRole/Department DescriptionThe Asset Allocation Associate product owner is responsible for developing, communicating, and executing a long-term strategy for the Asset Allocation application and associated workflows. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining quarterly and yearly roadmaps as well as regularly communicating status updates to stakeholders. The AA APM will oversee support work and projects related to the current and future states of the Asset Allocation application, and work as part of the Returns Analytics Front End team hand-in-hand with SPAR 3.0 Product Development. The core objective of this position is to closely collaborate with the RAS (Returns Analytics Services), Performance and Reporting, Risk and Quant, and Core Analytics Front End teams to help establish FactSet as the premier asset allocation tool for the investment community.ResponsibilitiesDevelop short and long-term strategic roadmaps for Asset AllocationDevelop and execute quarterly operational plans on time and with high qualityDevelop and communicate longer term strategic roadmaps in collaboration with the internal stakeholdersMeet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct appropriate market research to analyze and understand clients' needsWork closely with sales and strategy to identify client needs and clearly communicate them to EngineeringKeep the project backlog in Jira up-to-date and prioritized based on client needsResearch and document all relevant user types to deeply understand their workflows and requirementsServe as the main point of contact internally for all Asset Allocation application discussionsManage all support work for Asset Allocation and regularly contribute to SPAR 3.0 and broader Analytics supportEnsure timely and quality responses; Measure RPD stats over time and find creative ways to improve themPerform seamless handoffs to appropriate teams when necessaryDevelop and enact clear and streamlined curator and PD rotations, if necessaryCooperate with related teams to improve RPD procedures and product organizationInvestigate client-found bugs and enhancement requests providing timely responses and high quality supportCommunicate and collaborate with counterparts on adjacent teamsAnalytics development teamsContent and SymbologyStrategy teamsSales, Consulting & Specialist teamsCommunicate development progress and provide transparency into the development queueRegular update calls with Sales, Strategy, PD, & EngineeringLend expertise by participating on client visits and client callsEnsure speed, stability, and scalability of the Asset Allocation applicationCollaborate with other PAR group leads to ensure requirements are met for all use-casesEmbrace the SBU's P&L approach by maximizing our investment in our strongest products and initiatives and minimizing our costsQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience with strong track record of performanceStrong knowledge of client workflows, competitive products, and Asset Allocations value propositionExcellent analytical skills and ability to develop creative solutions.
