JPMorgan Chase API and Partnership Product Manager - Executive Director in Chicago, Illinois

The Commercial Banking Digital team is responsible for digital (.com, mobile, API) channel management, product management and commercialization for the JPMorgan Chase's Commercial Bank segment. Commercial Banking is a top provider of banking services to wholesale clients from small businesses to large, complex businesses with domestic and international needs.

JPMorgan is seeking a highly effective Digital Product Manager to lead the team that focuses on the evolution of our Commercial Bank APIs/partnership strategy, execution, support and scale. The team transforms our clients' treasury management organization by fully automating banking responsibilities directly or via our strategic partnerships across industries and geographies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with our clients, fintech, ERP, TMS and ecosystem partners to define and champion capabilities for the Commercial Bank persona and our connectivity capabilities

  • Build and deliver upon a best in class product roadmap to deliver a clear vision across partner integrations and direct with clients with a razor-sharp focus on solving client needs

  • Manage key partnerships, working with various internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing success

  • Champion and demonstrate our solutions as a subject matter expert by clearly articulating product positioning benefits, and value proposition for clients of varying levels of technical and financial understanding

  • Collaboration with the larger team on thought leadership, market insight and competitive positioning

  • Grasp complex technical topics and abstract key issues and risks into an actionable form

  • Establish and achieve key performance indicators including usage, time to market and client growth

  • Manage a high performing team as collaboration partners on the above and scale that team as needed to meet new opportunities


  • 10+ years of product management experience within financial services

  • Knowledge of API technologies, Wholesale Payments products, ERP/TMS systems and modern technology stacks preferred

  • Experience evaluating, rationalizing, and partnering with strategic technology integrations to support product and business outcomes

  • Hold a deep empathy for customers and are motivated to empower an optimal experience on their behalf

  • Authentic and credible communication and presentation skills that understand the details yet clearly articulates the higher-level value and technical rational

  • Experience in managing a team and superior influencing and relationship management skills across business partners

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills

  • Works well within a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of both business and technical acumen

  • Bachelor's degree required; MS or MBA preferred
