Job overview and responsibilities

Digital Technology PMO and Project Governance drives consistent IT processes for project intake and delivery, and validates controls and compliance. The Digital Technology PMO Analyst will contribute to the implementation of standard processes for project intake and project delivery. This role will support the analysis and validation of project data to ensure key activities (e.g., resource management, budgets, risks, schedules, change control, etc.) are appropriately captured, governed, reported/controlled, and improved when applicable.

The Digital Technology PMO Analyst participates in scenario planning leveraging existing data, past experience and organizational acumen to suggest different courses of action. The successful candidate must be a team player and have a strong understanding of project, program and portfolio management including demand, resource, and financial processes.

The Digital Technology PMO Analyst provides data driven insights and innovation across the IT PMO Governance portfolio. This individual will work with Infrastructure, Operations Technology, Digital & Ecommerce, Commercial, Procurement, Financial and Security stakeholders. Primary knowledge and experience in:

  • PMLC and SDLC methodologies

  • Administration of requests/tasks that arise from the PMO Request Log as needed and as applicable

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with the IT PMO leads to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver results as needed

  • Maintenance and file uploads to the Digital Technology Digital Technology PMO Documents library

  • Gathering of data, executing complex analyses, and being able to explain and display them in simple terms for broad understanding; the expected analyses will require extraction, transformation, and analysis of raw data for inclusion in reports which assist IT leadership in decision making

  • Participate in Digital Technology PMO Projects and initiatives as directed by project manager consulting and advisory services for project intake, project management and SharePoint

  • Produce portfolio and project compliance reports, project health dashboards and metrics as directed

  • Assist with process and tool improvements, PPM tool reporting and data governance  

Required

Bachelor's degree in related industry or quantitative field

• 3-5 years of project coordinator/project management domain experience

• Experience in Project Management, Project Intake though Project Delivery

• Project Lifecycle and SDLC methodologies

• Proven proficiency with Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office Suite

• Strong problem solving, estimation, and decision-making ability

• Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills

• Ability to take initiative to improve business and DT processes and solutions

• Ability to be a team player and support team needs above individual contributions

• Use and background in Microsoft Project Server/ PWA tool & CA PPM tool

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Business Analytics Technology, Business Analytics, or related degree
