About the Role

As an Account Executive, Midwest - Christophe Robin, you will oversee and support both our key retail stores as well as independent salon and boutique accounts. In our key retail stores, you will deliver sell-through oriented training programs with our main partners in Blue Mercury, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom and be the main contact for these teams. With the independent business, you will be responsible for opening new independent accounts across the Mid-west territory. These accounts consist mostly of salons but could also be independent beauty stores and pharmacies. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and growing the business in our existing salon and boutique accounts. You will be on the front line with the owners and managers of salons in order to acquire new businesses. The Mid-west territory includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas, with a big focus on the Chicago area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver sell-out-oriented training programs according to field needs.

  • Visit each store in your market depending on priorities/business and training the staff on the brand and the products so they feel comfortable selling the products until your next visit.

  • Be the key point of contact for all accounts.

  • Identifying opportunities to grow the business in each account.

  • Identifying potential new salons to partner with.

  • Find creative ways on contacting prospects.

  • Build and grow existing business

  • Organizing trainings with the salon teams and coordinating with our trainers.

  • Finding ways to make the launch a success (windows, sampling, partnership, etc.).

  • Follow up with existing accounts to ensure they are well stocked.

  • Process incoming independent orders and suggest new sku's

  • Manage travel expenses with a cost-effective mindset & within the guidelines.

  • Achievement of monthly sales targets & KPI’s

  • Complete monthly training and account opening reports.

Requirements

  • Excellence in sales with proven success

  • Experience in consulting with business owners, preferred

  • Strong communication skills, with finesse in customer service

  • Ability to create strong relationship with our partners, both existing and new

  • Can manage full 360 sales process from prospecting new business, to processing orders, documentation and after sales service.

  • Sell-in and sell-out oriented

  • Ability to travel within the US. Evening and weekend work required on rare occasions

  • Hair salon experience, preferred
